K-pop star CL and EXO will grace the closing event of the PyeongChang Winter Olympics.
They are part of a star-studded lineup featuring in the curtain-fall event slated for Sunday evening. A "surprise guest" will heat up the festive mood, according to Song Seung-hwan, director of the ceremony organized under the theme "fusion."
EXO lead vocalist Baek Hyun sang Korea's national anthem at the opening ceremony of the International Olympic Committee general assembly on Feb. 5.
CL, a member of now-defunct K-pop girl band 2NE1, has found fame in the United States, after being nominated as one of TIME magazine's 100 most influential people in 2016.
