South Korea's drought of goals continued since the team earned its first Olympic goal against Czech Republic on Saturday.
Canada defeated South Korea 4-0 in the preliminary round of the PyeongChang Winter Olympics.
With an assist by Chay Genomway, Christian Thomas netted Canada's first goal 7 minutes and 36 seconds after the first period began. Canada dominated the period with 18 shots, compared to South Korea's five.
With aggressive play, South Korea tried to rebound in the second period with six shots but failed to score. Eric O'Dell scored Canada's second goal later in the period. The second period ended with Canada leading 2-0.
With an assist by Derek Roy, Canada scored another goal in the third period and later Canada scored its final goal of the game goal with Korea suffering another scoreless defeat.
