We humans are weak. We have no choice but to commit sins while living in this world. Envy, greed, wrong judgment, hatred, etc. are sins that come from ourselves. There are also sins that come from others. Humans get very angry when they are criticized. The more we do good things for God, the more we are criticized. But we don't need to be angry. The best thing is that if we live in the mountains, we will not be cursed.
The person who was abused a lot in history was Jesus. Countless people tried to throw stones and he was even accused of being friends with the devil. In the end, people who gathered in Jerusalem shouted to kill Jesus. In other words, even though Jesus did good things, he was not welcomed by people and was only reviled.
According to Mark 3:1-6 in the Bible, Jesus healed a man with a shriveled hand in the middle of the synagogue on the Sabbath. It was impossible to heal the sick at that time in Israel because sick people were treated as sinners. However, the Pharisees conspired with Herod's party members to kill Jesus. In Mark 14: 64-65, when Jesus was sentenced to death, some people spat on him, blindfolded him, and hit him with their fists, but Jesus patiently endured everything. Believing in Jesus means living like Jesus.
As you live your life, when you are criticized and betrayed by others, go to church and look at Jesus. Then you can feel the feeling of pity between Jesus and you in difficult situations. By doing so, you can understand the deep heart of Jesus. If you depend too much on people as you go through life, you may face disgrace and humiliation. You are bound to make mistakes if you put too much trust in humans. Instead, you must believe in Jesus. Jesus is not angry with humans even though he takes a lot from them. When you fully commit yourselves to people, you feel betrayed and out of control. However, Jesus is the only one who does not get angry when anyone betrays him.
We live in sin. In other words, we live with the sins of being lazy, weak and envious. In John of the Bible, there is a story of a woman caught in adultery. About 2,000 years ago in Israel, women lived with their entire bodies covered except for their eyes. Jesus was adamant about adultery. He said that those who commit adultery should put out their eyes. The adulterous woman was caught on the spot. Then, Jesus said, "Let those among you who are without sin throw stones at that woman." So everyone scattered. Jesus forgave the adulterous woman. Jesus acknowledges, understands, and loves weak human beings like in this example.
Can a human like us be forgiven? For that to happen, our lives must change. All people can receive forgiveness and salvation except those who blaspheme the Holy Spirit. If you want peace, you must forgive others. When Jesus met the disciples after being spat on, assaulted, executed and resurrected on the third day, instead of criticizing them, he said, "I will give you peace." All storms pass and all you can enjoy is peace.
