1. Overview
Founding date and location: ICDK Seoul was founded in 2013, recognizing Seoul as a globally important innovation hub with strong R&D capacity and technological strongholds.
Mission: ICDK's mission is to elevate Danish science and innovation through collaboration with world-leading innovation ecosystems.
Ownership: ICDK is owned by the Danish government as joint venture between the ministry of science and higher education and ministry of foreign affairs.
2. Activities
Bilateral collaboration: Supporting government to government collaboration in areas of science and innovation with Korean Ministry of Science and ICT.
R&D collaboration: Stimulating collaboration programs and networks, e.g. partner search and fundraising.
Networking and delegations: Organizing customized visit programs for ministerial, business, and academic delegations between Korea and Denmark.
Awareness and knowledge: Scouting tech trends and analyzing areas of possible collaboration between Korea and Denmark.

Staff: 7 total staff members, a mixed Korean and Danish team in Seoul. ICDK employs 51 employees across 7 strategically placed offices in innovative hotspots around the globe.
