Germany's decision that soccer can return this month provided hopes for players and teams across Europe on Wednesday that the shutdown caused by the coronavirus pandemic could soon be coming to an end.

With COVID-19 infections declining, German Chancellor Angela Merkel declared that the return of the top two leagues could be included in the loosening of lockdown measures.
코로나19 감염자 수가 감소함에 따라, 독일의 앙겔라 메르켈 총리는 락다운 조치 완화에 상위 2리그(분데스리가1, 분데스리가2) 재개가 포함될 수 있다고 선언했다.

The Bundesliga is now set to be the first major men's soccer competition to resume in Europe on Friday, May 15 after the shutdown of the sport across the continent in March.
오는 금요일(15일) 재개되는 분데스리가는 지난 3월 유럽 대륙 전역의 프로축구 셧다운 이후 열리는 첫 메이저 유럽축구 리그가 될 예정이다.
