International football icon Cristiano Ronaldo will play against Korea's K Leaguers in Seoul next month, the league said Wednesday.
한국프로축구연맹은 세계적인 축구 스타 크리스티아누 호날두가 다음 달 서울에서 한국 K리그 올스타를 상대로 친선 경기를 가진다고 수요일 밝혔다.
The Portuguese and his Juventus teammates will stage an exhibition match at Seoul World Cup Stadium in the city's Mapo District.
호날두와 그의 유벤투스 팀 동료들은 서울 마포구의 서울월드컵경기장에서 친선전을 펼친다.
The 8 p.m. game on July 26 will see the Italian Serie A champions play the K League All-Star team, according to the authority that governs professional football in South Korea.
7월 26일 오후 8시로 예정된 이번 친선전에서 K리그 올스타팀이 세리에A 우승팀을 상대하는 명장면을 볼 수 있다고 한국프로축구연맹은 전했다.
The K League said Juventus will bring all its top players. Its agreement with the Italian club also guarantees Ronaldo's appearance. Juventus played the South Korean national team in an exhibition match in Seoul in 1996.
한국프로축구연맹은 유벤투스가 1군 선수들을 모두 데려온다고 밝혔다. 계약서에는 호날두의 출전 보장이 명시되어있다.
Fans will vote for the Korean All-Stars' roster, the K League said.
축구 팬들이 직접 K리그 올스타 선수단을 투표로 뽑을 것이라고 연맹은 덧붙였다.
Ronaldo's last visit to Seoul was in July 2007 when he played for English Premier League team Manchester United in an exhibition match against FC Seoul. He scored one goal and made two assists, contributing to his team's 4-0 win.

Ronaldo, 34, was scheduled to visit Seoul in July 2018 for a corporate promotional tour but the trip was canceled at the last minute after he left Spanish club Real Madrid to join Juventus.
