AMSTERDAM (AP) ― Facing a three-goal deficit at halftime in their Champions League semifinal, Tottenham's players only had to think back 24 hours or so to find a source of inspiration.

챔피언스리그 준결승 하프타임, 1, 2차전 합산 3골이 뒤지던 토트넘 선수들은 승리에 대한 자극을 받아야만 했다. 선수들은 24시간 전을 떠올렸다. (*하루 전 리버풀은 바르셀로나에 4-0 완승을 거두며 극적으로 챔피언스리그 결승에 진출했다.)

"We saw Liverpool last night ― it goes to show it's not over until it is over," Tottenham fullback Danny Rose said.

"끝날 때까지 끝난 게 아냐, 어젯밤 리버풀을 봤자나"라고 토트넘 풀백 대니 로즈가 말했다.

Just a day after Liverpool's stunning win over Barcelona, Tottenham pulled off another epic comeback on Wednesday.

리버풀이 바르셀로나를 상대로 놀라운 승리를 거둔 지 하루 만에 토트넘도 또 다른 기적을 만들었다.

Lucas Moura completed a hat trick in the sixth minute of injury time as Tottenham rallied to beat Ajax 3-2 and reach its first Champions League final, ending a remarkable run by the young Dutch team that had knocked off some of Europe's biggest clubs along the way.

후반전 추가시간 6분, 루카스 모우라가 해트트릭을 완성한 토트넘이 아약스를 3-2로 꺾고 구단 역사상 처음으로 챔피언스리그 결승에 진출했다. 유럽의 강팀들(레알마드리드, 유벤투스)을 차례로 꺾은 '젊은 팀' 아약스의 위대한 여정도 막을 내렸다.

It was a rally that was eerily similar to the one the previous night at Anfield, where Liverpool erased a 3-0 deficit from the first leg by beating Barcelona 4-0 at home.

이 경기는 하루 전 리버풀이 바르셀로나를 안필드에서 4-0으로 꺾으며 1차전 세 골 차 패배를 역전해버린 경기와 믿기 힘들 정도로 똑같은 역전승이었다.

In Amsterdam, Moura nearly single-handedly helped Tottenham pull off a similar feat.

루카스 모우라는 혼자서 '안필드의 기적'을 토트넘이 똑같이 해내도록 만들었다.

Ajax seemed to have the two-legged semifinal wrapped up by halftime after teenage captain Matthijs de Light and Hakim Ziyech netted to put it 2-0 up at the break ― and 3-0 on aggregate.

But Moura scored twice in a four-minute span to put the visitors one goal from going through 3-3 on aggregate thanks to the away goals rule.

After Jan Vertonghen's header hit the crossbar in the 87th minute, that goal finally arrived when Moura struck again deep into injury time.

Moura's winner led to a pile-up of Spurs players near the corner flag celebrating one of the biggest wins in club history, as the disbelieving Ajax players lay on the ground.

루카스 모우라의 결승 골에 토트넘 선수들은 코너플래그에 몰려들어 서로의 등 위에 올라타며 클럽 역사상 최고의 승리를 기뻐했지만 망연자실한 아약스 선수들은 그라운드에 누워버렸다.

It means Tottenham will face Liverpool in Madrid on June 1 in the first all-English final since Manchester United beat Chelsea in 2008.
