Jihyo's first solo album will comprise seven tracks, including the opening "Killin' Me Good," with the tracklist posted by JYP Entertainment also containing phrases that provide a hint about the message of each track.
Jihyo showcased her talents as a producer by taking part in the composition and songwriting for all seven tracks of her upcoming album. It will feature collaborations with world-renowned artists, including number one Billboard rapper 24kGoldn and Heize for the tracks "Talkin' About It" and "Don't Wanna Go Back." The track "Nightmare" was unveiled during Jihyo's solo stage performance at TWICE's "READY TO BE" world tour earlier this year, and her fans will be delighted to find out that the track in question will indeed be a part of Jihyo's upcoming solo album.
The opening track "Killin' Me Good" was written by producer Park Jin-young, who is joined by other renowned songwriters including Melanie Fontana, Lindgren and Marcus Lomax for Jihyo's new album, with the trio having previously worked with many global artists like Dua Lipa, Maroon 5 and Ava Max.
Jihyo's debut solo mini-album "ZONE" and its opening track "Killin' Me Good" will be released on Aug. 18 at 1 p.m. Korea Time and midnight Eastern Time in the United States.
