Fans are buzzing in anticipation over singer Kwon Eun-bi's imminent return.
Kwon's agency, Woolliim Entertainment, released a new teaser of her upcoming album "The Flash" on their official YouTube channel at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
The teaser included portions of three new songs, including the title track "The Flash" as well as "Comet" and "Beautiful," all showcasing Kwon Eun-bi's rich vocals and musical depth.
The video also showed scenes of Kwon taking part in a photoshoot for her new album, captivating viewers with her unique blend of innocence and sexy charisma.
Kwon's upcoming title track "The Flash" is a dance song with an upbeat tempo and a smooth melody. The lyrics retell the story of Persephone from Greek mythology from a modern perspective, with Kwon's impressive vocals adding polish to the track.
Other singles from the upcoming album include "Comet," which tells a thrilling and exciting story of traveling to an unknown world, and "Beautiful Night," which is a message of liberation from the repetitive grind of daily life.
Kwon also had a hand in writing the lyrics for the latter track, with her fans eager to find out more about any personal messages she may have included in the song, given her previous experience of writing lyrics for songs "Door," "OFF" and "Hi."
Kwon's career has undergone a resurgence following her sizzling recent performance at the 2023 Waterbomb Festival in Seoul and the renewed popularity of her previous track "Underwater." On the back of this success, expectations are high among fans and critics alike this summer season for her upcoming album.
With her complete package of good looks, strong vocals and captivating stage presence, Kwon is well-positioned to dazzle the global audience with her new music.
Kwon Eun-bi's album "The Flash" will be released on major streaming platforms on Aug. 2 at 6 p.m. Korea Time.
