An unnamed contractor and Warner Music Korea reportedly masterminded a scheme to poach members of the girl group, Fifty Fifty, according to their record label, Attrakt.
The agency said on Monday that it obtained evidence of an outsourcing company approaching Warner Music Korea to offer the sale of Fifty Fifty, and that it had sent documented proof of the incident to the parties involved.
An Attrakt representative said, "We have found clear evidence of an irrefutable attempt to illegally poach members of Fifty Fifty. We ask Warner Music Korea to explain their position clearly on this matter."
Attrakt released a statement last Friday, saying that an outside agency "approached members of Fifty Fifty trying to recruit them in violation of their exclusive contract terms." The buzz surrounding the incident only intensified after the agency named Warner Music Korea as the culprit working behind the scenes.
Warner Music Korea has yet to comment on the matter.
