Park Min-young to co-star with Go Kyung-pyo in new rom-com

Actress Park Min-young will costar with Go Kyung-pyo in tvN's upcoming romantic comedy series "MonWedFriTuesThursSat" (literal translation).

The network announced that it has confirmed the lead actors for its new series, which included the two actors and a model-turned-actor Kim Jae-young.

Directed by Nam Sung-woo, whose previous work includes the 2021 rom-com "My Roommate Is a Gumiho," the new series will revolve around a helper service that rents a wife to single people for the events where they need a plus-one.

Choi Sang-eun (Park) is one of the helpers at the services who has the look and brain and is an all-rounder. She has been working with Jung Ji-ho, whose private life remains a mystery, for five years on a long-term exclusive contract for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. One day, she gets a new client Kang Hae-jin (Kim), who is a global star and a rich heir.

The series is written by scriptwriter Ha Koo-dam and is scheduled to go on air in the latter half of this year.

Park debuted with the supporting role in the hit 2006 sitcom "High Kick!" and has played lead roles in numerous hit TV series, including the rom-com series "What's Wrong with Secretary Kim?" (2018). She recently played the role of a meteorologist in the rom-com "Forecasting Love and Weather," which ended last month.

Go debuted in 2010 with a teen series "Jungle Fish 2," and has starred in various TV series and films, such as the action film "Seven Years of Night" (2018) and the rom-com series "Don't Dare to Dream" (2016).
